Strengthening regional migration governance

With the aim to thematically deepen the understanding of migration issues among all relevant partners and stakeholders in the region, MARRI with the support of GIZ organized  one workshop in each participant country member of MARRI. Participants where representatives of national administrations, local government, international organizations, research/academic institutions and civil society who discussed the migration governance, especially in regards to the Initiative and its adopted strategy. Activities: 

• Contribution to the conceptual development of the six national workshops and the regional conference, including agenda and methodology of the workshops and the conference;
• Moderation of the six national workshops and the regional conference, as a part of a team of moderators;
• Capacity development for the co-moderators from MARRI Regional Center;
• Documentation of the workshops and conference results;
• Support to the development of service products for the members of MARRI
